The Parole Restoration Project (PRP) is an alternative to jail or prison for technical parole violators with substance abuse problems and/or mental illness. PRP works to obtain the judicial approval to restore an individual's parole status and then escorts parolees from detention into appropriate treatment programs. Subsequently, PRP monitors the individual's participation in treatment.
Eligibility
PRP serves all technical parole violators EXCEPT individuals convicted of PL Article 125, 130, or 265 offenses; those apprehended by JAWS; or those who are persistent parole violators.
